2011 Honorees:

Gerald Adolph: As a senior partner of Booz and Company, Gerald Adolph focuses on assisting clients with growth strategies, new business development and industry restructuring. He has served as co-lead for the African-American Core team and as a member of the Booz Allen Board of Directors. Adolph is also on the board of Cintas Corporation and Chair of the compensation committee. He is the Co-Chairman of the Board of the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund among many other nonprofit organizations. Adolph holds a BS degree in chemical engineering and in science/ organizational psychology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Masters in chemical engineering from MIT, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Ed Gordon: Ed Gordon is an Emmy Award winning broadcaster. Best known for his interactions with newsmakers from the world of politics, entertainment and sports, Gordon is one of the most versatile people in broadcasting. He has appeared in many television and radio features including BET's Weekly with Ed Gordon, Conversations with Ed Gordon and New and Notes with Ed Gordon. Gordon is the creator of "Daddy's Promise", in efforts to encourage more fathers to become deeply involved in the lives of their daughters. He is also the president of Ed Gordon Media, a multi-service production company.

Dr. Thomas Price, JR: Originally from South Point, Ohio, Dr. Thomas Price JR. graduated from Dartmouth College. He then went on to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Price JR. completed his internship and residency at Harlem Hospital Center in New York. He served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and is currently the Associate Director of Cardiology at the Mount Vernon Hospital. He works as a medical consultant for numerous law firms. Dr. Price JR. is also board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.

Evening Emcee:

Asuncion "Sunny" Hostin: Asuncion "Sunny" Hostin earned her bachelor's degree from Birmingham University and her law degree from the University of Notre Dame. Hostin is a managing director of business intelligence and investigators at Kroll; she leads investigation teams in investigating fraud and corruption. Hostin is CNN's legal contributor for American Morning. She has also served as an assistant U.S. attorney in Washington, D.C., where, she was awarded a Special Achievement Award for her work as a child sex crime prosecutor. Hostin has also served as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division. She works as a professor of evidence at Pace Law School.
